Back in 2015, GX sponsored three trainee Guide Dog puppies; Goldie, Legend and Felix. Two years on, and two of the three dogs have successfully completed their training. Black Labrador, Felix now has a permanent owner, whilst Goldie has been selected for further training. Sadly, Legend has not completed his training, preferring to play and run in the park.
With these three dogs now grown up, GX decided to sponsor three more bundles of fun in the form of Joy, Berry and Buddy. All three puppies have been placed with trainers to start their initial training to become Guide Dogs.
GX’s business development manager Claire Banks said, “We started sponsoring the trainee Guide Dog puppies three years ago by donating the money we would have spent on buying and sending Christmas cards. It is very gratifying to know that our money has had such a positive impact on others’ lives, so much so, that we decided to sponsor three more dogs once our original class of 2015 had graduated!”
