A massive congratulations to Stephen Morris for completing his first London Marathon in a new T20 British record time of 02:59:06.
Stephen was raising money for the National Autistic Society. He managed to raise more than 150% of his original fundraising target. GX are proud to have contributed to such a worthwhile charity fundraiser.
Stephen was diagnosed with autism at a young age and struggled to fit in at school growing up. When he was in his mid-teens a PE Teacher recognised his talent for running and urged him to join the school cross country team. Since then, he has competed at the Paralympic Games in 2012 and reached the World Finals in 2013. As well as these global accolades he has personally used running to gain confidence and find his own voice.
