The NICEIC is a government approved body which has been regulating the electrical contracting industry for the past 50 years. Approved contractors must undergo a rigorous assessment process before they are added to the national register and allowed to display the assuring logo.
Allan Trebble who joined GX Group in October 2013 as an electrical engineer was recently qualified as a registered Competent Person – Electrical for the company. His work is largely for GX Environmental where he is responsible for all the planned and any reactive maintenance needed on the water loggers that the company administer.
Commenting upon the award, technical director Jeremy Saunders said; “Allan has become an indispensible member of the team and we are extremely proud that we will be amongst the first to display their new logo as Allan has been approved under the Register of Competent Person scheme.”
An official launch of NICEIC’S new mark and register takes place on the 2nd July in the Palace of Westminster.
