The Challenge
Supply and install GX AQ400 passenger tracking devices to vessels attached to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel for automatic notification of vessel return and ready the quay side to receive guests.
The Solution
The robustness and reliability of GX’s AQ400 passenger tracking unit ideally suits the harsh environment of the hotel’s rib craft, which are capable of high speeds across water, and able to endure constant spray and mechanical jarring. Using GPS and GPRS technologies, vessel locations, routes travelled and number of passenger are transmitted to a base station and SMS messages sent to the hotel notifying of pending arrivals as vessels approach a pre-determined location.

Jumeirah Beach Hotel has complete visibility of vessel arrivals, enabling management to effectively plan labour resources whilst maintaining high customer service levels sought after by its guests
