Angela Hastings
Design Engineer
Angela started out as an apprentice engineer, developing her career thereafter by working in different areas of engineering such as manufacturing, toolmaking, maintenance and design. She has also worked across several different industries including the MOD, automotive, electronic, manufacturing and oil & gas, learning new skills with each new role.
She joined GX in 2021 to work on the design and manufacture of bespoke engineering products, each developed to the client’s unique specifications. She enjoys being part of a ‘fantastic team where everyone is passionate about what they do’. Being involved in niche designs allows Angela to apply her different skills, and learn from those around her. She loves the fact that that every day is different and that each project brings new challenges.
A bit about Angela
Angela’s interest in engineering first began when she helped her dad who was always fixing things - she just couldn’t resist joining in.
Did you know?
On weekends, time allowing, Angela loves to relax watching F1. She also enjoys listening to Audiobooks, especially while developing her PC which she built from scratch and is always looking to upgrade and improve. A friend has recently asked her to build him a super-fast gaming rig but she says she may not want to hand it over once it is finished!
