Mario Luzeiro

Mario works with GX as an embedded system engineer consultant. He has expertise in embedded software development, ultra-low power wireless mesh networks, wireless sensor networks and graphical user interfaces for embedded systems.
He has a deep understanding of the technical aspect of the work he performs and has built a reputation for delivering high quality work. After completing his degree in electronics and telecommunications at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), Mario spent time in the Netherlands and the UK working for Bitwise, a leading software engineering services provider, specialising in safety critical, real-time embedded software for the defence, healthcare, automotive and industrial sectors.

Mario contributes to KiCad, an open-source software suite for electronic design automation that facilitates the design and simulation of electronic hardware.

When not programming, Mario likes to hike in the mountains near Aveiro. He is also an enthusiastic homebrewer and enjoys brewing different types of beer, and sharing these with his friends.
