GX looking forward to attending Connects healthcare conference

09 June 2017

As one of MediWales’ corporate sponsors, GX will be taking part in their NHS Collaboration Conference, Connects, on 21st June. Now in its second year, the conference has been organised by MediWales, the leading life science network for Wales, and will take place at the Mercure Holland House Hotel.

This prestigious one day conference is the only event where companies like GX, who are involved in the healthcare sector, can exhibit and meet colleagues from within the NHS. On the GX stand this year will be managing director, Mark Helmich and business development manager, Claire Banks.

“Over our 30-year history,” notes Mark, “The design team at GX has developed several innovative products to assist with healthcare. Connects is a great opportunity to showcase some of these products and demonstrate the breadth of our experience in healthcare product design.”

Amongst the medical products that Mark and Claire will be exhibiting is a ground breaking medical diagnostic product, the Bayer Clinitek Status, a urine analysis machine, plus two products developed with life science technology; a plasma generator and lysis cartridge to analyse DNA.

Commenting on his choice of exhibits, Mark said, “At GX we are one of the few medical device design companies to incorporate a range of skills within our design team. Having skills including mechanical, industrial, electronic, software and system design and engineering, all within our in house team allows us to retain control of a project from start to finish.”

Registration to the attend Connects is open to NHS employees and members of MediWales, click here to apply.
